About Barbara Hamilton Miller
Born, raised and educated in Kalamazoo, Barbara Hamilton Miller is a
lifelong resident and is the daughter of former Kalamazoo Mayor Francis Hamilton. She attended Kalamazoo Public
schools and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School with the class of '71. She has been
actively involved in the community, her family and church and is the ideal citizen to lead
Kalamazoo to a better future.
Married 31 years now to a fellow KCHS classmate, Barbara and Gordon Miller
are the parents of 3 children; ages 25, 23 and 19. All three are Kalamazoo Central Graduates.

Personal Statement
I feel I have the time and energy to dedicate another two years working
for our community. I strongly believe in intergovernmental cooperation. We are stronger
together than we are separately. There are many ways to work together that will save all
of our entities money.
